Traditional Japanese (Naturopathic) Medicineamatsu

Welcome to Traditional Japanese Naturopathic medicine website.

Traditional Japanese Medicine (TJM) is a naturopathic approach to health prevention and recovery, by integrating natural therapies.

TJM includes;  massage, acupressure, acupuncture, joint correction, energy gathering, skill development, nutrition and herbal medicine.

TJM is a complimentary approach which works alongside 'western' medicine and recognises the benifits of integrated health care.

Traditionally these ways or therapies have been used for thousands of years to prevent and treat conditions such as;

Back and spine conditions            Lumbago, sciatica, Compressed disc, etc

Digestive disorders                       IBS, flatulance, constipation, etc

Sports & Martial arts injuries        Sprains, strains, pulls, injuries, etc

Hormone conditions                    PMS/PMT, menopause, headaches, etc

Male conditions                           Urine retention, prostate, erection, etc

Physical health                             Muscles, joints, ligaments, arthritis, etc

Emotional health                          Stress, tension, anxiety, mild depression

In addition both the self treatment and therapy methods have been traditionally used to enhace skills and abilities in general life, sports, the martial arts, improving learning and concentration and developing what is termed "Our potential"

It achieves this high level of treatment, both preventively and in assisting recovery, because it treats the 'entire' person, whilst providing remedial treatments for the symptoms.

This integrated approach, helps in many conditions, which have been verified for thousands of years and the individual 'therapies' have in recent years been verified by science! The unique approach of TJM is the way in which it brings together many different 'therapies' together at the same time. To learn more please visit our Philosophy of life pages.
